Millennium Center SA is responsible for the collection, processing and use of your data and ensures that it complies with Swiss and, where applicable, European law. 

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and this privacy policy. Below we inform you about the data which are collected on this website and how they are used. You will also find out how to check the accuracy of this information and how you can have us remove these data. 

In cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect the databases against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible. 

By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing and use of your data as indicated here. This website can in principle be consulted without registration. Data such as the pages visited or the name of the file accessed, the date and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes without these data being directly linked to you. Personal data, such as your name, address or email address, are, as far as possible, collected on a voluntary basis. The data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. 

Scope of application

In addition, we process personal data in accordance with the following legal principles in connection with Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR, to the extent that the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR) is applicable:

• the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the 
  request of the data subject. 
• the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, if any, under the applicable law of the European Union or the law of a state in which the GDPR is applicable in whole or in part. 
• the processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person. 
• the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data prevail. Legitimate interests include our commercial interest in being able to provide our website and services, information security, the enforcement of our own rights and compliance with Swiss law. 

We process personal data for the time necessary for the respective purpose(s). In the case of long-term retention obligations due to legal or other obligations to which we are subject, we will limit the processing accordingly. 

Collection, use and processing of personal data 

When you visit this website, certain data are automatically stored on our servers or on the servers of the services and products we use and/or have installed, for system administration, statistical or backup purposes or for tracking purposes. These data may include the following:

Newsletter 

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need your email address and information which enables us to check that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. We only use the data to send the requested information. You can withdraw your consent to the storage of your data and email address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example by using the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. 

Subscription to our newsletter is done through a double confirmation procedure. This means that after you have subscribed, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. This confirmation is necessary so that no-one can subscribe with the email address of a third party. 

The subscription to the newsletter is recorded in order to be able to prove the subscription process in accordance with legal requirements. The time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address are stored for this purpose. Changes to your data stored with MailChimp are also logged. 

Mailchimp 

The newsletter is sent via MailChimp, a newsletter sending platform of the American provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. 

The email addresses of the recipients of our newsletter, as well as their other data defined in the context of this information, are stored on MailChimp's servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate newsletters at our request. MailChimp may also use the data, on its own terms, to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimization of the sending and presentation of newsletters or for economic purposes to determine the country of the recipients. MailChimp does not, however, use the data of our newsletter recipients for the purpose of contacting these persons directly or passing on the data to third parties. 

We trust the reliability, the security of the computer system and the data security at MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield agreement and is therefore committed to complying with EU data protection requirements. You can find MailChimp's privacy policy at this link. 

Analytical tools: Matomo (formerly Piwik) 

This website uses Matomo, a web analysis service provided by InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand. 

Matomo uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to analyze your use of the website. For example, Matomo records information about your operating system, the browser you are using, your IP address, the web page you previously visited (referring URL) and the date and time you visited our website. We need this data in order to analyze the use of our website and its components in order to improve the website and make it even more user-friendly. The anonymization of the IP address in the last two bytes takes into account the user's interest in the protection of their personal data. The data is never used to personally identify the user of the website. The data collected by Matomo is stored on our own servers. It is not passed on to third parties. You can object to the recording of data as described above in three ways: 

1) You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website (see also the section on the use of cookies). 

2) You can activate the "do-not-track" function in your browser. Our Matomo system is configured to respect this setting. How this works is explained in detail in the instructions provided by your browser's publisher. 

3) At the bottom of this page, you can set an opt-out cookie, which is valid for two years. This will mean that Matomo will no longer record your future visits. Please note, however, that the opt-out cookie is also deleted when you delete all cookies.

Social Media Plug-in 

Among other things, we use the social plug-ins mentioned below on our website to make our company better known (for advertising purposes). The responsibility for compliance with data protection lies with their respective suppliers. The processing of data in connection with these plug-ins is carried out with your consent when you use these plug-ins. 

If you use the services of these social networks independently or in connection with our website, the social networks will evaluate your use of the plug-ins. In this case, the information about the plug-in is passed on to the social networks. 

Facebook

Twitter 

Plug-ins from the social microblogging network Twitter Inc. are installed on our website. You can recognize Twitter plug-ins (Twitter button) from the Twitter logo and the Twitter add-on. If you visit a page on our website which contains one of these plug-ins, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Twitter server. As a result of this, Twitter receives the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. Google Maps services are used on our website (e.g. on screen or via interfaces/APIs). Google LLC, USA, may therefore process information about your actual location. Google uses various technologies to determine your location, such as IP addresses, GPS and other sensors, which provide Google with information about nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points or mobile phone antennas, for example.

Your rights 

You can request information about the data we have stored about you at any time. To do so, please send a request for information by email. The request must be accompanied by proof of identity sent to the same address. 

You can request the deletion or correction of your data at any time. Of course, you also have the right to revoke your consent to the use or processing of your personal data for the future at any time. 

The stored data will be deleted by us when it is no longer required for the stated purpose. With regard to the deletion of data, it should be noted that we are subject to certain legal obligations which stipulate that certain data must be retained. We must comply with this obligation. If you wish to delete data which are subject to the legal retention obligation, the data will be blocked in our system and used only to fulfill the legal retention obligation. After the retention period has expired, your deletion request will be fulfilled. 

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests (see Scope above), you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation or for the purposes of direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which will be implemented by us without indicating any particular situation. 

In addition, you also have the possibility to receive the personal data you have provided to us or to request that they be transferred to another data controller. In the event of disproportionate costs, we reserve the right to require you to provide proof of identity and to pay the actual costs in advance.
